The newest Tory MP to announce her intention to resign at the next election is Nadine Dorries.




The former cabinet minister claimed that the decision had been made after "much soul-searching" and in response to the Conservatives' rapidly declining polling numbers.


She also attacked the Tory MPs who ousted her close buddy Boris Johnson as prime minister during an appearance on her Talk TV chat programme.

A graduate student at Washington State University was detained on Friday in his native Pennsylvania in connection with the savage killings of four University of Idaho students last month in their off-campus house, a crime that shook a nearby college town.
